"In an effort to provide the adults in our community a creative outlet, we are offering the following opportunities. Please feel free to make suggestions for events and workshops you would like to see at the library. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise specified."
ADULT WINTER READING CLUB - COZY UP WITH A CLASSIC
January 18 – March 20, 2010 - There is still time to come in and sign up and get your reading list.
1. The person reading the most classics will win our grand prize of a cozy blanket for those cold winter nights of reading.
2. On your reading list there are seven categories of books (American lit, World lit, drama, etc). There will be a "mystery" book in each category. Choose a "mystery" book and receive a prize.
3. There are no restrictions other than you must pick your books from this list. There is something for everyone here and you should have no problem finding something you will like.
4. Lastly, we are issuing a challenge again this year. For every book read during this reading club, the Library will donate a $1.00 per book (up to $250) to the Christian Neighbors Food Pantry. So READ, READ, READ!
