The Henika District Library is proud to present an opportunity for area writers to hone their craft. No matter what you are writing please join this workshop. 

Participants will be reading their work aloud, doing skill building exercises, and also do some constructive critical reading of other’s work.
Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 12 from 6 pm to 7 pm.
Our instructor will be Dan Kelsey. Dan is a journalist and novel writer and loves the written word.
The following style list is not all inclusive: Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novel, short story, novel, memoir, Inspiration, journalistic, creative non-fiction, experimental, plays and more.

So come to have fun and learn and meet follow writers. This workshop is free and open to writers 16 years old and up.

Many of you have read or are reading (re-reading) The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. The movie is coming to theaters on Oct 7. We are going to gather to discuss the book on Wednesday, Oct 19. Please come whether you have already seen the movie or want to see the movie. Need a copy of the book? Check with staff at the Service Desk. If we don't have a copy waiting for you we will help you find a copy.
