Stitching for Peace
Our service project for this year is the Teenage M.O.P.s group meeting in Caledonia. These girls come from the surrounding high schools and are being mentored by local area women. We are making baby items to donate to these young moms.
We meet the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 to Noon. It is come and go as you need to and no mandatory meetings. Some people feel more comfortable just stitching at home rather than in a group. We like to gather once a month to exchange ideas or help anyone having a problem with their project, and just to gab and have fun. Anyone is welcome and as always this event is free and open to the public. If you are stitching at home please drop off your finished projects at the library any time. We will tag and deliver them. Need more information, talk to Carol.
