Reciprocal Borrowing
We will accept library cards from all Lakeland member libraries.
**Underfunded Contract Areas – As of July 1, 2010, residents of contract areas that do not fund their home libraries at a level equal to or greater than .3 mill are not granted reciprocal borrowing privileges, nor can they participate in interlibrary loan.
Interlibrary Loan patrons may borrow materials from other Lakeland member libraries by placing holds on those items, either at home or in the library. Patrons may also request library staff to place holds for them. Six month new books are not available for interloan.
Delivery Service
As members of the Lakeland Library Cooperative, we provide three days per week delivery service for items arriving in interlibrary loan. At this time we are not able to return any items belonging to the Grand Rapids Public Libraries, since they are currently on a different system.
